Booking - This is the initial deposit payment.
A $125 deposit is required to reserve your spot, with the remaining balance due 30 days before your departure date. Be sure to review our cancellation policy before booking.
Shortly after booking, you’ll receive an email confirmation, payment plan options, and a comprehensive packing list. You’ll also get access to the recorded Backpacking 101 lesson and can choose dates for pre-trip Backpacking 101 “office hours,” available both in person (San Diego, CA) and virtually. Additionally, you’ll be able to select your meals from the provided camp menu.
If you are opting for rental gear, we will include suggested gear rental options and typical costs in your follow-up email. Please be sure to confirm or request any gear rentals in advance to ensure availability.
Additionally, you will receive any required forms or waivers (such as the liability release and medical information form) that must be signed before departure. These documents will be included in your pre-trip email, and we kindly ask that you complete them prior to the trip to ensure a smooth check-in process.
