Shortly after booking, you will receive via email your Catalina ferry terminal ticket confirmation, a detailed trip itinerary & guide packet, and a comprehensive packing list. You'll also be provided with options for dates to attend the pre-trip Backpacking 101 session, along with free Leave No Trace resources to review beforehand. Additionally, you'll have access to a food menu to make your selections for certain camp meals.
If you are opting for rental gear, we will include detailed gear rental options and costs in your follow-up email. Please be sure to confirm or request any gear rentals in advance to ensure availability.
Additionally, you will receive any required forms or waivers (such as the liability release and medical information form) that must be signed before departure. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we strive to be as flexible as possible while ensuring fairness to all participants. Please review our cancellation policy below:
Cancellation by Participant
30+ Days Before Trip Start: Full refund minus a $50 administrative fee.
14-29 Days Before Trip Start: 50% refund of the total trip cost.
Less Than 14 Days Before Trip Start: No refunds available.
Transfer & Rescheduling Policy
You may transfer your reservation to another person at least 7 days before departure (pending approval).
If you need to reschedule to another trip, you can apply 50% of your current trip cost as credit toward a future retreat, if rescheduling is done 14 or more days before the trip.
Cancellation by Trailbound Yoga
In the rare case that we need to cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather, natural disasters, guide illness, or minimum participant requirements not met), you will receive:
A full refund or
The option to transfer your payment to a future trip.
Trailbound Yoga is not responsible for additional expenses incurred, such as flights, lodging, or travel insurance.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, or trip disruptions.
