Join transformational yogapacking retreats—backpacking to natural, wild spaces where yoga and meditation meet self-discovery.

Yogapacking

[yoh·guh·pack·ing] (verb)

The fusion of backpacking and yoga, where adventurers trek to wild landscapes to deepen their practice through immersive outdoor yoga and meditation experiences.

There is something deeply humbling and empowering about carrying everything you need on your back and within your heart and mind. It fosters self-reliance while connecting us to the collective consciousness of the natural world.

On the trail and the mat, you enter a flow state—where time fades, the ego dissolves, and movement aligns with breath, creating presence and harmony with nature.

Immersive Guided Yoga

Trailbound trips are guided by certified yoga instructors skilled in Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, pranayama techniques, and intelligent sequencing. This journey seamlessly integrates movement and mindfulness with the beauty of nature. Our meditations are inspired by the natural world, drawing from the principles of Japanese Forest Bathing. By aligning our breath with the rhythms of the environment—whether through sunrise sun salutations or pranayama before hiking—we deepen our connection to the earth and cultivate a more grounded, mindful experience.

About Your Guide

Woman outdoors at sunset with a yoga mat and backpack

My connection to the wilderness is deeply rooted in my family’s history, with roots in both Alaska and Montana. Raised in Washington State, I grew up surrounded by a lineage of adventurers, spending my childhood exploring the Cascades, Olympics, and Selkirk ranges. My family’s tales of resilience and their passion for the outdoors shaped my sense of purpose and ignited my lifelong love for backpacking and the backcountry.

In my early twenties, after facing a personal crossroads, yoga became my refuge, grounding me when I felt lost. This practice became my anchor and sparked a deeper connection to both mind and body. It was then that I realized a calling: to combine my love for the wilderness with yoga. Now, as a wilderness guide and yoga instructor, I create accessible outdoor experiences that help others reconnect with nature, build resilience, and cultivate inner peace through yoga in the wild.
